Online Excel Training in Canada or the USA
Everyone on your team can learn Excel, online with a live instructor using Microsoft Teams or Zoom. This is a great option for employees working remotely.
Online training is available anywhere in Canada or the United States.
Onsite Excel Training in Toronto and Ottawa
Our Microsoft Excel courses can be delivered onsite, in your organization’s meeting room or training room in select cities across Ontario.
Our service area for onsite training includes Toronto, Mississauga, and Ottawa.
Excel Level 1
Basic Excel skills for Excel 2016, 2019, and 365
1 day course – $275 per person plus HST. Minimum enrollment required.
Discounted pricing is available for groups of 6 or more, non-profit organizations, and Government of Canada employees.
Course Content
Getting Started with Excel
Understanding spreadsheet concepts, getting started, creating and saving workbooks, opening and closing workbooks.
Modifying Worksheets
Working with columns and rows, working with cell contents.
Using Formulas and Functions
Creating and using formulas, creating and using functions, using absolute cell references, inserting functions.
Formatting and Viewing Worksheets
Formatting worksheets, viewing worksheets.
Printing Workbooks
Using workbook views, changing the page setup, previewing and printing workbooks.
Excel Level 2
Intermediate Excel training for Excel 2016, 2019, and 365
Prerequisite: Excel Level 1
1 day course – $275 per person plus HST. Minimum enrollment required.

Worksheet Organization
Managing range names, creating and using workbook templates, applying worksheet security, creating and using outlines.
Advanced Formulas
Using the IF function, using the IFS function, linking formulas, modifying and restoring links.
Using Multiple Workbooks and Worksheets
Working with multiple workbooks, working with multiple worksheets, consolidating data.
Working with Charts
Creating charts, changing chart data, modifying chart elements, creating custom charts.
Applying Formatting
Working with styles, annotating worksheets, using sparklines.
Excel Level 3 Data Management
Advanced Excel Training for Excel 2016, 2019, and 365

Data list concepts and Excel tables, using data forms, using lookup tables.
Sorting Lists
Sorting concepts, sorting lists, custom sort orders.
Filtering Lists
Filtering concepts, using AutoFilter, using advanced filter, working with filtered data.
Summarizing Data
Automatic subtotals, working with subtotalled lists ; using functions to summarize data.
Working with PivotTables
PivotTable concepts, creating PivotTables, modifying PivotTable layouts, working with PivotTables, PivotCharts, slicers.
Working with External Data
External data concepts, importing query data from Access, importing query data from web pages, importing query data from text files, importing text files using the import wizard.
Excel Level 3 Spreadsheet Analysis

Auditing Concepts
Tracing a worksheet, evaluating formulas, locating and correcting errors in formulas, tracking cells in a workbook.
