  • Getting started with Microsoft Project ; overview of MS Project’s interface, views, and shortcuts
  • Start a new project plan ; create tasks, summary tasks, and recurring tasks ; apply a work breakdown structure ; link tasks and modify dependencies
  • Add / assign resources to tasks ; work with task / resource / project calendar ; add costs to project activities
  • Change project scheduling methods and task types ; understand and display the critical path
  • Use preset contours for allocating resources ; identify overallocated resources and resolve resource conflicts
  • Format views and the Gantt chart in MS Project
  • Print the various views and reports that are part of your project plan
  • Sort, filter, and group tasks and resources as needed
  • Save a baseline, tack project progress using various methods, analyze project status
